Practical information
Ghent University has six university museums. Three museums (The Archaeological Museum, The Ethnographic Collections and The Museum for the History of Medicine), are situated in “The Culture- and Convention Centre ‘Het Pand’”, where the colloquium is housed.
The other three museums (the Zoology Museum, The Museum for the History of Sciences, The Morphology Museum) and the Botanical Garden are located at the outskirt of the city of Ghent.
On Tuesday November 19th in the afternoon, a guided tour is foreseen in the three museums in “The Culture- and Convention Centre ‘Het Pand’”. Registration beforehand is necessary (see registration).
A post conference tour to the other University museums outside the centre of the city and the Botanical Garden is planned on Thursday October 21st. Registration is necessary (see registration form).
